ORDERING YOUR DESIGN DRAWINGS
Email us the design number you are interested in and any changes you wish to make, and we will confirm the price. We don’t charge extra for minor changes like moving a door or resizing a window, but moving walls or altering the exterior envelope of the house may incur a charge to cover the additional time spent - somewhere between 10 & 50% of the Base Design Price depending on the complexity of your changes.
Once you are happy with that, you send us your deposit, which is 1/3 of the total price. The next 1/3 is due once the order confirmation drawings or sketch plans are agreed, and the balance is due when your documents are ready for printing.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Once we have received your deposit, we mail you back a confirming letter and our checklist for you to complete and return to us.
Then we send you Order Confirmation drawings for the design you have chosen for you to approve - the floor plan (or plans if the design is more than one storey), four elevations of the house showing the cladding materials you have chosen, and a site plan, showing the house sited on your site - these drawings include any changes you have asked for.
We get the site information from a digital file that your registered surveyor emails to us, and you tell us where the house is to be sited.
Once you have approved the drawings, we produce Working Drawings and Specifications for you to apply to your Council for building Consent and to get prices from builders and suppliers.
TIMING
Our target time of 4 weeks to produce Consent application documents is affected by the increasingly detailed and complex requirements of most Councils, so we now try to give you an approximate time for delivery, based on the options you have chosen and our current workload.

These prices are for work up to Consent application and do not include printing or copying costs, and any time spent responding to Council requests for amended or additional drawings, details, product information, etc. will be charged on a time basis.
Payment can be made by mailed cheque or transfer via internet banking - please email us for our account details.
