Designed in an H shape, the east wing contains the family room, kitchen and pantry, while the west wing has the four bedrooms, laundry and garage. The living room pavilion links these two wings, with a high ceiling that appears to float above the space because of the continuous glazing between walls and roof.

Concealed sliding doors allow the family room to be opened up to provide seamless open plan flow between family and living spaces. Wide sliding doors link living rooms and the master bedroom to the north terrace.

The carefully angled and extended roofs control the sun, shielding in summer, but allowing sunshine deep into the house in winter.
