A bold and substantial looking design which wouldn’t look out of place in the Outback or perhaps French Polynesia, the exterior of this house design is notable for the chunky columned veranda around all four sides. The roof of the veranda is glazed over doorways to allow maximum light into rooms while keeping the rain at bay. Between the double garage and house the veranda becomes a breezeway, and is gated at the entry end to preserve privacy.

The interior arrangement is equally impressive, with the open plan kitchen, dining and living space featuring ceilings that slope up and culminate in clerestorey windows that throw sunlight deep into the house.

The room off the entry could be used for a variety of purposes - a study or office as shown, or a second living room, home theatre or guest bedroom - the choice is yours. This room, along with all the bedrooms, opens to the veranda via French doors flanked by integral double hung sidelights to give ease of access, maximum light, and controlled ventilation.
