About the home this two storey house design will give you:

Designed for the beach, this house nevertheless offers all the usual rooms, but arranged in a split level fashion around a central stair, which results in a very compact design with circulation space limited to the stair itself.

This arrangement elevates the living rooms and bedrooms (useful for views over the dunes), with only the entry and large laundry in ground contact, and it also results in storage under the house: room for a car or boat on one side, and kayak, dinghy, surfboard type storage on the other, which could be enclosed and lockable if you wish. There is also an exterior storage cupboard by the entry door.

The master bedroom is tucked into the roof space, and has its own ensuite. The other bedrooms show twin beds, but double bunks are also possible. Able to be thrown open in summer, but also cosy in winter - a nifty design all round.
