An impressive two-storey five-bedroom English-style country home, which combines old world formality and symmetry with modern convenience and lifestyle.

Approached from the west, the house offers a classically balanced and formal elevation with a recessed central front door flanked by matching bay windows and protected by a wide balcony at first floor level.

On the ground floor, two living rooms give a choice between formal and informal, summer and winter, or day and evening options. A family room with a big corner bay window shares an open-plan space with a kitchen with a window that can open to allow dishes to be passed directly in and out and the separate study could double as a visitors’ room or home theatre. A guest toilet and laundry also occupy the ground floor. A veranda runs the length of the eastern side of the house, offering protected access from the double garage to the house, and a transition space between house and lawn.
