Lots of living space in a small envelope, this compact townhouse or tidy cottage delivers on lifestyle as well. A single expanse of deck runs along the north face of this townhouse, under a pergola, offering a fantastic indoor-outdoor flow. There’s plenty of sun in winter, and it’s perfect for a BBQ in summer (or how about that pizza oven?) High, sloping ceilings in living and bedroom areas give this compact home an airy feel.

A clearly defined front porch makes for an elegant approach to visitors and leads to an enclosed entry foyer with coat cupboard. The one car garage beside the entry has internal access via the laundry to the family or living room and kitchen.

The kitchen boasts a walk-in pantry and includes a double sink, hob, built-in refrigerator/freezer, wall oven, microwave and extraction system, as well as a well-placed crockery cupboard and servery adjacent to the open plan living room.

Indoors and outdoors blend as the living room’s French doors open out to the full-length deck, and the floor plan incorporates a bay window big enough to sleep on - just the place on a drowsy summer afternoon.
