Architect David Wood started Blueprint Plan Co in 1993 with the aim of making house designs of architectural quality available to people who may not otherwise use an architect or architectural designer to design their new home.
By choosing one of these designs and selecting roof and wall cladding materials from the wide range available on the New Zealand market, you can achieve a well designed house with individual character and style. If you need to change the design to suit your site or lifestyle, the result is a custom designed home at a fraction of the full architectural fee.

We want to make ordering a set of plans and specifications as easy as possible and are always ready to help and advise you before you order.
Just contact us by phone, email, fax or post.
Our standard prices include your choice of:
- house design;
- the materials for the roof, outside and inside wall linings, door and window joinery, and interior fittings in the bathrooms and kitchen.
If you are unsure what materials to choose, we will discuss them with you when we confirm your order.
Other services available at extra cost are:
- alterations to the design;
- timber framed floors;
- concrete masonry construction;
- additional built-in fittings - bookshelves, cupboards, fuel store, etc.
We aim to complete your documents in 4 weeks from the time we receive your order and deposit - sketch plans or alterations may extend this, but if time is of the essence, we will do all we can to meet your timetable.
